Dr. Andrew Barnard from Michigan Technological University participated in this summers Chief Scientist Training Cruise aboard the R/V Blue Heron. This educational workshop was designed to train early career scientists and current graduate students in how to plan and conduct an oceanographic research cruise in the Great Lakes.
