The University of Delaware is seeking an entry to mid-level engineer for a position in Lewes, Delaware. The Engineering team monitors, maintains, and repairs equipment and operates winches and frames to deploy and recover scientific equipment. Great team atmosphere and interesting missions. Missions are typically 10-18 days in the mid-Atlantic. Ship maintenance is performed alongside during the off season Mon-Fri.

On the job training provided. QMED preferred, but will train and assist entry level hard worker with obtaining USCG credential. The R/V HUGH R SHARP is a 146’ oceanographic research vessel.

- Mid Level - QMED, experience on tug boats, offshore supply vessels, research or fishing vessels.
