1330    Ship Radiated Noise Panel Discussion – Introduction by Dave Bradley

·         Overview of ship radiated noise sources, issues associated with radiated noise measurements, and operational impacts with respect to various missions and noise standards – Chris Barber

·         Examples of quiet machinery and propulsion plant designs incorporated into two recently constructed research vessels, including major machinery procurement, vibration isolation mounting and path mitigation strategies – Mike Bahtiarian 

·         The impact of a noisy ship on the performance of acoustic mission systems such as multi-beam sonars and will provide examples of problems discovered on research vessels and lessons learned from the resulting mitigation efforts – Tim Gates

·         "Lessons Learned" from the Sikuliaq, Ocean Class and RCRV processes – Marc Willis (30 minutes)

·         R/V Langseth - FIC liaison report and Langseth Improvements - Sandy Shor will provide the Liaison Report and Linda Goad will provide an update on any Langseth improvements not covered in the liaison report.

·         Ocean Class Research Vessel (OCRV) - Suggest members for an Ocean Class Advisory Committee (OCAC) – Clare Reimers

·         RV SikuliaqOutcome of mock-up review. – Marc Willis

·         R/V Barnes Replacement – UW update on replacement plans for the R/V Barnes – Al Devol

·         Vessel Condition Memorandum from NSF and recommended service life end dates for FIC review.
