JSOST-Facilities
Task Force on Unmanned Systems (TFUS) - The purpose of the TFUS is to advise, assist, and make recommendations
to the JSOST-Facilities on policies, procedures, and plans relating to unmanned
systems uses, upgrades, and investments. The scope of the TFUS
includes: Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV), Gliders, Unmanned Aircraft
Systems (UAS), Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV) and Lagrangian Platforms. Discussion – Should there be coordination
between SCOAR and TFUS?
· UNOLS Charter Review – The UNOLS Charter requires re-adoption every three years. SCOAR is asked to review Annex VIII of the Charter which is the committee’s terms of reference. http://www.unols.org/info/ucharter.html#annexVIII
