A meeting of the UNOLS Ship Scheduling Committee was held at the National Science Foundation on Wednesday July 21, 2004 and Thursday morning July 22, 2004.  The meeting addressed preliminary schedules for the UNOLS fleet, funding decisions, and identified areas where additional effort is needed to create effective schedules. ROV, Coring group and OBS schedule coordination was also examined along with a review of potential security risk issues.  Preliminary cost estimates versus planned budgets for NSF and ONR were reviewed. The meeting followed the agenda in Appendix I. Those attending are listed in Appendix II. A gant chart of Large ship programs is attached as Appendix III.  The posted schedules as of early July are in Appendix IV. A spreadsheet of posted schedules is attached as Appendix V and a spreadsheet showing Ship Time Request (STR) status is attached as Appendix VI.
