2. Healy test program

Status of test memos.

Ship modifications underway or planned before 2001 science season.

AICC role in commenting on planned ship modifications, adding to the list,
prioritizing the list, and/or assessing suitability completed
modifications.

Completion of the AICC report on the Healy science systems test program.

What report is expected/desirable?
How close are we now to producing the final AICC report.
Plans for review, modifications, and dissemination of the AICC report.

3. Arctic icebreaker scheduling and planning for 2001 and 2002.

HEALY will be berthed just south of downtown Seattle, near the King Dome.
The address is 14 South Massachusetts which is just off Alaskan Way South
just south of the King Dome. Click here for a map.

AICC has been invited to stay on board the HEALY. There are eleven staterooms available
and they can handle up to three people. Please let the UNOLS office know if you plan to stay
on board, what nights and who you might want to share a stateroom with.

We have a block of rooms that are $104 per night for single occupancy and
$114/night for double occupancy. The block is set aside for check in on
Sunday 8/20 and check out on Wednesday 8/23. The cut off date for reserving
a room under this block at the government rate is August 5th. Tell the
reservation desk that you want a room under the UNOLS-AICC block. let then
know if you want to arrive early or are staying for the ARC meeting and they
should honor the same rate. You will need to hold the room and pay for the
cost with your own credit card. They have a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Another option is the University Inn. We do not have a block of rooms but
there are a few rooms available at $102 and a few more at $104.

The Federal Per Diem rate for Seattle is $104 for lodging and $46 for meals
and incidentals.

The SJSUF contract travel agent is Uchida Travel in San Jose. They can help
you make travel arrangements and can bill our account directly for
authorized UNOLS travel. Please tell them that you are traveling for UNOLS
with the name and dates of the meeting. If there is any question they will
