Objective:
I am looking for a job in the maritime industry with an opportunity to earn sea time and real world experience in vessel operations.

Skills:
After working on the California Maritime Academy’s training ship T.S. Golden Bear, I have developed the following skills and abilities:
Gasket cutting, taking rounds in an engine room, properly filling out and logging tagged out equipment, disassembly and cleaning of fuel oil/lube
oil purifiers, taking tank soundings (innage/ullage), sand blasting, overhauling/ routine maintenance of various types of valves (gate, ball,
check, and temperature regulating), pipe fitting, and routine maintenance on evaporators. (I have also had some experience with welding, plumbing, electrical work, and turbochargers.)

Computer:
CADkey, Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, and Excel

Point Loma High School class of 2002
California Maritime Academy- Two years, (MET) Marine Engineering Technology

Leadership:
While attending Point Loma High School:
I was a member of the N.J.R.O.T.C where I held various officer and staff
positions ultimately leading to the position of Executive Officer during my
senior year.
