Gained experience at the Chapman School of Seamanship in close quarter
maneuvering, docking and undocking, with and without spring lines, and
backing down on single and twin-screw vessels ranging in size from 25
feet to 50 feet. Also, experience gained in tacking, jibing, man-overboard
procedures and sailing on all points of sail aboard vessels of 27 feet
to 40 feet.
