As my resume indicates, I have past experience as Master with west coast towing companies including: Westar Marine Services, Foss Maritime, Crowley Marine Services, and Sause Brothers Ocean Towing Co. My background in ships and engineering are diverse and bridge a wide array of technical fields including: avionics, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, engineering, and propulsion systems. My education at the University of Washington with emphasis in physical oceanography, naval architecture and mechanical engineering was complimented while working as engineer in training for The Glosten Associates, Inc on a variety of projects ranging from self propelled dredges, research vessels, and tractor tug conversions. Employment with a cutting edge oceanographic research company is my professional career goal under my USCG license of Master, 1600 tons, Oceans.
