We are upgrading the time server on the Wecoma to units that
deliver IEE1588 (v2, 2008) Precision Time Protocol.
We have currently narrowed the field to the S350 from Symmetricom:

And the SecureSync from Spectracom:

I thought I'd ask around to see if anyone has alternatives or
features that we may want to consider.
We are looking for units that also deliver:
-10MHz
-1pps
-IRIG(b)
Right now we are leaning toward the S350 because it has multiple
isolated ethernet ports.

Dave,
Had real good luck with the S250 on the Okeanos Explorer and when I used to work on the Institute for Exploration's fly-away ROV system. If the S350 is just the updated model I'd think you'll be fine.
The multiple ethernet ports remains my favorite features, makes providing NTP across multiple subnet easy and without compromising network security or having to dig through routing tables.
Something else we use on the Explorer or Symmetricom's NTP clock displays. We have one in the main lab and in the ROV/Multibeam Control room. There an easy way to add sub-second accurate clocks around the ship. Add network, power and DONE.
Good Luck.
