UNOLS OCEAN CLASS HULL RECOMMENDATION
In a letter dated March 7, 2005, Dr. Peter Wiebe, UNOLS Chair, and Dr. Dave Hebert, FIC Chair, provided the UNOLS Ocean Class hull form recommendation to RADM Cohen, CNR. The letter and associated appendices can be downloaded as pdfs:

At the UNOLS Annual Meeting on October 15, 2004, RADM Cohen, CNR, announced ONRs plans for acquisition of Ocean Class Vessels. He requested that UNOLS provide input regarding hull selection for the Ocean Class and encouraged UNOLS to consider the X-Craft hull design. The following documents have been compiled to assist in the hull selection process. The FIC, Ocean Class Steering Committee, and agency representatives are encouraged to visit the site often for the latest information about the project.
